Andrea Hardesty
Associate Attorney
Andrea was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a B.S. in Business in 2018. While at UNO, Andrea was a member of the Cheerleading Team, School Spirit and Student Programming Board, and a Goodrich Scholar. Andrea earned her J.D. and M.B.A. Degrees from Drake University School of Law in 2022. While at Drake, Andrea was involved in the Student Bar Association, serving as Class Representative and Chair of the Events Committee. Andrea received the 2022 K.M. Waggoner Peer Mentor Award and was a CALI award winner in Estate Planning while in law school.
Since her adoption at 10 years old, Andrea has known she wanted to be an attorney. She enjoys being able to provide some positivity to her clients in what can be some of the hardest points in their life. Throughout law school, Andrea found a passion for Estate Planning and Probate, and has focused her practice on those areas. Each year, she participates in the Drake University Mark S. Cady Day of Public Service, where she drafts Living Wills and Powers of Attorney at no cost to attendees.
Andrea spends her time outside work with her family and two yorkies. She enjoys reading, working out, and attending Kansas City Chiefs games. During the school year, Andrea teaches Business Law Fundamentals as an Adjunct Professor at UNO.
