With over 30 years of experience as a paralegal, Teresa Ramirez has dedicated her career to supporting families through some of life’s most important transitions. She began working in the legal field in 1996 as an intake specialist and legal assistant while enrolling as a full-time non-traditional student at Doane College. During the day, she worked full time. At night, she attended classes. All the while, she and her husband were raising four children.

She earned her BA in Organizational Communication with an emphasis in paralegal studies and quickly discovered a deep passion for family law. It has been a privilege for her to serve her community in this work ever since.

Married for 44 years, Teresa and her husband have raised four successful children and are now grandparents to eleven grandchildren who bring constant energy and joy. She enjoys traveling, especially through the mountains, interior decorating, quilting, and flower gardening with her husband.
