As our Business Development Attorney, you will help expand our presence in Lincoln while building trusted relationships throughout the community.
What You’ll Do
Build relationships that grow the firm
Develop referral partnerships with professionals, organizations, and community contacts throughout Lincoln and surrounding areas.
Increase visibility in the community
Represent McGill Law at networking events, professional associations, and local community functions.
Identify opportunities for strategic growth
Help expand the firm’s presence in Lincoln through outreach, relationship-building, and creative business development initiatives.
Conduct consultations and convert opportunities into clients
Meet with prospective clients, build trust, and help guide them toward the next step in the legal process.
Collaborate with the team
Work closely with attorneys and staff to create a supportive, seamless experience for clients from first contact forward.
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Nebraska, or ability to obtain licensure
Prior family law experience is a plus, but not required
Interest or experience in business development, networking, client relations, or community engagement
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while driving measurable results
Strategic mindset with strong initiative and follow-through
